Rules

Game Rules (Band A)

• All even games.
• One hour time limit, with 5 periods of 30 seconds byoyomi.
• AGA Rules (7.5 komi)

Game Rules (Band B and C)

• Even games if possible, but you may use handicaps if necessary. Handicaps are to be decided by the players (ask Greg, Gus, Steve or Josh if you cannot decide by yourselves).
• Thirty minute time limit, with 5 periods of 30 seconds byoyomi.
• AGA Rules (7.5 komi for even games)

Missing Games

If you do not play at least half of your games in a league round, you will be removed from the league. Removed players may join up again immediately with the following restrictions:

• You must specifically ask one of the league admins to add you again (Greg, Gus, Steve, or Josh). We will probably make fun of you for being lazy.
• You must commit to playing at least three-fourths of your games in the next round of the league.
• Players who fail to meet their game quota for two rounds in a row will be temporarily banned from the league (probably for one or two rounds).

If you have a legitimate reason for not playing your games (or if you try hard to play them but your opponents are unavailable) you can talk to any of the league admins for exemption from these rules. We're not trying to be jerks, but it sucks for everyone if you don't at least try to finish your games.

Absence

If you no longer have time to participate, that's fine. Please just let one of the league admins know ASAP so that this can be taken into account. Hunting people down to get them to finish their games is incredibly annoying, and we will be really pissed off if you make us do this. You can rejoin later when you have more time.
